Position Summary and Job Responsibilities

Position Summary

BGI, LLC is seeking a full-time F-35 Mission Planning Equipment (MPE) Instructor at Eglin Air Force Base, FL.  Duties include providing instruction to F-35 personnel in the classroom and virtually, contributing to annual courseware reviews, and providing support to courseware development as required. Instructors have shifts that vary from day to evening shifts and travel up to 30% of the year to Domestic and International F-35 locations.

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Facilitate classroom academic lectures, provide laboratory demonstrations, monitor computer-based training, and provide academics, testing and evaluation.
  • Provides remedial student training, revision and development of student training lesson plans and associated training materials, and syllabi. Ensures classroom/laboratory/learning center and equipment are operational and ready for training.
  • Participates in annual courseware reviews, courseware feedback, instructional design support, and other special projects as required.
  • Travels to Domestic and International locations to provide training on military bases.
Required and/or Preferred Qualifications

Required and/or Preferred Qualifications (education, experience, licenses, skills)

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years experience with the F-35 program desired
  • Possesses at least one of the following certifications:
    • IT certification (Comp TIA Security +, CCNA, Linux +, or similar)
    • FAA License (AMT, A&P or similar)  
  • Must have prior experience with instruction.  This can include any of the following:
    • Informal instruction of group
    • On-the-Job (OJT) style of teachings
    • Transcripts displaying successful completion of courses in Andragogy, Pedagogy, or other education related courses.

  • Aviation Logistics Information Management Systems (ALIMS)

  • Aircraft Maintenance
  • Avionics
  • Electronic Warfare
  • Troubleshooting Web Applications
  • JBOSS (Wild Fly) Application Server Familiarity
  • Account Maintenance with Active Directory/Oracle/CRM
  • Disaster recovery: backups and restores of physical servers, virtual machines, databases, and network equipment
  • Virtual Machine Management Service (Hyper-V / VMware)
  • Maintaining/upgrading system hardware and startup/shutdown of rack components
  • Applying updates, anti-virus/anti-spyware updates, and patch updates
  • Splunk Log Aggregation and Dashboard
  • Linux Familiarity
  • Installing Oracle Critical Patches, reviewing tables and DBA views for issues, and locating user session data
  • Managing large Oracle and SQLServer databases

 

Other Requirements:

  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a USG secret security clearance
  • Current background investigate within 6 years or in an “Deferred Investigation” status
  • Received a minimum of two years of instruction from an accredited university
